HOW TO CHOOSE A NICHE

In this module, we are going to look at how to choose a niche and why choosing a niche is important.

This might be a little different from what you might have heard others teach and talk about. You see others tell you to build a general store and start purchasing different products to list on your store.

A niche is a narrow category in which you sell your products.

So say…

You sell face masks, you’re in the beauty niche or, more specifically, the anti-ageing niche.

You can get even deeper with micro-niches. For instance, you might sell organic, chemical-free face masks.

Choosing an e-commerce niche shouldn’t only revolve around whatever’s hot, expensive, or otherwise appealing at a given time.

You need a passion for the project but don't stop there.

Similarly, you need an audience. If nobody’s shopping for your product, you’ll never get any sales.

Look beyond category and focus on solving your potential customer’s pain points.

Before you choose a niche for your e-commerce business there are certain questions you must

answer:

Are there lots of people in that niche?

Can you upsell your audience? i.e. if you sell them male enhancement pills on the front end, you should easily sell them pheromones at the back end

OR
📍You sell high blood pressure pills.

You can sell them blood pressure monitors on the backend.

📍You can sell vagina-tightening gels and sell vagina-lubricating gels or cleaners on the backend.

Can you get products that guarantee at least 200% profit?

Is there competition? If a lot of people are selling products in that niche, it’s a good sign it is profitable

Now, you’ll hear most people talk about passion when choosing a niche. Which is fine. But don’t let it cloud your judgement; if lots of people don’t make up your market/niche, you’ll have few people to sell to and few people mean little money.

Below are some niches to look into but don’t get limited by this list Health
Beauty
Sex
Safety/Security
Convenience
Kitchen Gadgets
Baby

Within these niches there are sub-niches... See below...

Within these niches, there are sub-niches as I wrote above

Health
High Blood Pressure
Diabetes
Arthritis
Eye Sight
ETC

Beauty
Stretch Marks
Anti Ageing
Skin Glow
Hair Growth
Eczema
ETC

Sex
Male sexual enhancement(e.g. PE)
Vagina Tighteners
Vagina cleaners
Sex toys
ETC

Listen to guys,

Before you choose a niche you want to make sure you understand your audience and what drives them.
This is very important.

Because people have different peculiarities.

What drives a man to buy a product is largely different from what drives a woman to buy a product.

Also, you want to have a niche you can easily sell to people with money.

In the next module, you'll learn how to source products that people need...

NOTE:::👇👇

MARKETING RESEARCH::
Never import a product without first doing a market survey

ONLINE MARKET RESEARCH: Engage Facebook posts,
Instagram Posts, WhatsApp status, Facebook ads.

OFFLINE MARKET RESEARCH: your locality, network
and community.

Let's ruminate this first👇

You know 1688.com is a website that has a replica of most USA products e.g. Versace, D & G etc. These are USA-owned products. Alexander Macquarie and the rest. They are just the name of the American that owns them. So the China 🇨🇳 population has their brand too. If they call it Versace in the USA, they have the same product in China. Same type but by different manufacturers. So when you survey through it. You find the replica. They have the same product too with a lesser amount.

The reason we are buying from China and not USAthatause their goods are cheap compared to the USA.

So there are two products you see here.

1. A copy
2. Outdated product

I will explain the two.

A copy: is similar to the original (i.e. those from the USA like Versace) while outdated are original in China but not trending...
